Two Philadelphia Police officers will be disciplined after a photo of them sleeping in a squad car surfaced on social media over the weekend.

The officers’ names have not been released. Their photo was posted on Twitter by user MrsMcmillan14 on Nov. 7. It shows two uniformed officers asleep in a marked car. (See Tweet below.)

6ABC reported the photo was taken in the 24th district, which covers Upper Kensington and Port Richmond.

It quickly became a public relations nightmare for the Philadelphia Police Department.

“There’s a safety concern which is the biggest element of all, that someone was able to take a picture close enough to them without waking them up. It could’ve been deadly to be very honest,” Lt. John Standford told the news network.

Details regarding the specific disciplinary actions being taken against the officers were not immediately released.
