Local Residents and Neighbors Attend 10th Annual Unity Day in the City of Coatesville
Celebration Continues Through September 25th with Sounds of Summer Music Series

The City of Coatesville welcomed residents, families, and visitors from throughout Chester County to the 10th Annual Unity Day on August 8th during a free community celebration highlighting Coatesville’s diversity, resilience and community spirit. The celebrations continue through September 25th with the Sounds of Summer Music Series at Gateway Park.
Marking a decade of bringing the community together, Unity Day is one of Coatesville’s annual events featuring live music, food trucks, local vendors, a dedicated Kids Zone and family fun for all ages at Gateway Park. This year’s afternoon festivities extended into the evening with a fireworks show.
“For 10 years, Unity Day has brought people together across neighborhoods and backgrounds to celebrate community, inclusion and civic pride,” said James Logan, Coatesville City Manager. “Our milestone 10th anniversary continued that tradition with an afternoon and evening of free summer fun for the entire community.”
