10th Annual Memorial Walk 2016
Anticipating the Memorial Day holiday, Ingomar Church commemorates loved ones with a family-oriented walk at North Park.
Healthy Steps Honor Loved Ones
Franklin Park, PA – For the tenth consecutive year, Ingomar Church is hosting its annual Memorial Walk, Saturday, May 14, 9 a.m. at Pie Traynor Field in North Park. The event celebrates the lives, love, and service of loved ones who have gone before us. The walk is open to all.
The agenda includes:
- Participant check-in and pick-up of 2016 Memorial Walk t-shirts imprinted with the names of all loved ones being honored
- Brief ceremony in which each loved one's name is read aloud
- Balloon release honoring loved ones
- A 1.5-mile walk, suitable for all ages and levels of conditioning
- Refreshments and fellowship
The cost of $15 per person (or $40/family – dependent children only)
includes a t-shirt imprinted with the names of all loved ones being honored. Participants are asked to provide loved one’s name(s) when registering, and to indicate t-shirt size(s). Shirts are available in sizes Youth Small to XXXL.
