6 Seneca Valley School Directors Recognized For Service

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is honoring long-term school directors across the state, and six Seneca Valley board members are included in the recognition.

The association recently shared recognition certificates with the following directors:

• Jeff Widdowson: 16 years.

• Eric DiTullio: 12 years.

• Jim Nickel: 12 years.

• Kathy Whittle: 8 years.

• Timothy Hester: 8 years.

• Fred Peterson: 8 years.

According to school boards association, most school directors cite a desire to give back to public
education or to improve educational outcomes for students as the primary reason for their service.
