Today's riddle: What is full of holes but still holds water? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Cranberry Township initiative provides mobile party to residents (butlereagle.com) — If you live in Cranberry Township, you can reserve a free Block Party Trailer stocked with tables, chairs, games, and more to power your next neighborhood gathering. The township's sponsorship-funded trailers are booked online, delivered and picked up by Public Works, and have become a popular way for new developments like Laurel Pointe to build community and connect with local first responders.
• Jackson, Cranberry townships unveil new boundary at joint meeting (butlereagle.com) — Cranberry and Jackson township officials have unveiled proposed new boundary lines along Cranberry's northern edge, prompted by the Kobe Point housing development and confusion over old maps and deeds. Residents near the line raised concerns about communication, tree cutting, stormwater, and survey work, while officials stressed that property buffers remain unchanged and the ordinance will go before both boards in early September.
• Cranberry's Armstrong Great Lawn designated a 'great public space' (butlereagle.com) — Cranberry Township's Armstrong Great Lawn, the 2.5‑acre green in front of the municipal center, has been named one of Pennsylvania's "great public spaces" by the state chapter of the American Planning Association. Redesigned from a former parking lot, the lawn now features walking paths, fountains, shaded seating, and a reading garden, and regularly hosts community events for residents.
