• Cranberry Township woman arrives home to find Jefferson Township man naked in her bed (butlereagle.com) — A Cranberry Township woman returned to her Bucktail Drive home to find a man, who was under a protection-from-abuse order, allegedly naked in her bed and threatening her with a kitchen knife. Cranberry Township police charged him with felony burglary and related offenses after he reportedly broke in through a damaged window and remained inside for more than an hour and a half.
   

• Union Volleyball Team Wins Another Five-Set Thriller (explorevenango.com) — Cranberry's volleyball team pushed Union to a five-set marathon Monday night, with standout performances from Morgan Stewart, Avery Coe, Kennedy Stewart, and Maria Schwab in a narrow 15-13 final-set loss. Local fans also saw strong showings from other nearby schools, including Clarion, Keystone, and A-C Valley, plus a North Clarion soccer win.
