Butler County to be Featured in Episode of Syndicated TV Series "World's Greatest"

Butler County will be featured in the upcoming 225th episode of the syndicated television series “World’s Greatest!” The series, currently in its 9th season, is a half-hour show that focuses on telling “the story behind the story" and strives to be a source of “edutainment,” to viewers, meaning the program is not only educational and informational, but also entertaining.

The segment outlines many of the attributes of Butler County, including the birthplace of the Jeep, inventor John Roebling and his home in Saxonburg, the Washington Trail and the shopping and entertainment district of Cranberry Township.

"'World's Greatest!'" is a program known for highlighting unique products, extraordinary people and premiere destinations so it's thrilling to have Butler County be recognized," said Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau President, Jack Cohen. "We know how special and wonderful Butler County is and now everyone else will too."

“World’s Greatest!” is a program by How 2 Media, based in DelRay Beach, Florida and a production of 21st Century Production Company. Researchers and producers approached Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau in October 2015 to film a segment on Butler County.

The episode will air at 6 a.m. EST on March 14 and March 28 on Armstrong Channel 67, DirecTV Channel 305 and DISH Network Channel 250. The episode will also be available at http://worldsgreatesttelevision.com following the original airing.
