Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau to Host Regional Homeland Security Seminar
Event will take place Friday, March 4 at The Atrium

Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau is hosting a Homeland Security and HR in Hospitality Conference on Friday, March 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Representatives from all seven Western Pennsylvania counties’ tourism bureaus are invited to the Atrium on Route 422 in Prospect for the seminar, which will focus on emergency preparedness. In the current world climate, it’s important for the tourism industry to be prepared for anything. The seminar will cover the topics of suspicious activity, cyber risks, active shooter, bomb-making, human trafficking and more. Representatives from the Department of Homeland Security as well as Human Resources Specialist Dr. Eugene Gatty from Strategic People Solutions will lead the discussions.
