CANDY CANE COAT DRIVE AND FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT PROJECT BUNDLE-UP

Coats will be collected at Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland December 19th & 20th

Butler County, PA (December 15, 2015)– This Saturday and Sunday, December 19th and 20th, gently worn coats will be collected at Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland at Big Butler Fair Grounds as part of a fundraiser for Project Bundle-Up.

Veronica Krol, a soon to be graduate of Seneca Valley Senior High School, is heading up the fundraising effort as part of her senior project. The Candy Cane Coat Drive will be accepting gently worn coats on behalf of Project Bundle-Ups “Spread the Warmth” campaign. Monetary donations will also be accepted. A holiday themed basket will also be auctioned off. The booth will be set up in Santa’s Village located at the end of the light show.

Sponsors of the Candy Cane Coat Drive include EduLink, Integrative Staffing Group, Dr. David Malinic Dentistry and Insurance Services of Zelienople.

About Project Bundle-Up

Since its beginning in 1986, Project Bundle-Up, a joint effort of The Salvation Army and WTAE-TV, has provided new winter outerwear for disadvantaged children and seniors across Western Pennsylvania. Through annual fundraising efforts and the community’s generosity, more than 5,800 children and seniors are helped annually.
