The Concussion Support Group of Pittsburgh, Meeting May 14th

Meeting to discuss the recovery process of a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury. For those experiencing post concussion syndrome.

The Concussion Support Group of Pittsburgh

Have you suffered a concussion? Are you struggling with anxiety, irritability, depression, frequent headaches, visual problems, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia, problems with memory, decision making, information processing and concentration?

What you once knew as “normal” no longer exists, things that you could count on for yourself no longer exist, and what you have to do to achieve, and accept, a “new normal,” is a difficult process, both emotionally and physically. Family members don’t understand your limitations because you “appear” to be perfectly healthy.

Please consider joining our discussion support group. You will learn that you’re not as different as you think and that you’re not alone. This group is a place where you can come and be with others who are grappling with similar issues. It’s all about information, support, sharing, coping and … becoming empowered!

Through positive discussions, it is our goal that you will find common ground, share resources, provide education, and find solutions.
