Cranberry Area's Best Fish Fries Ranked

Thank cod for the church fish fry.

With just two weeks until Easter weekend, time is rapidly running out on the annual Lenten fish fry season. Some people have their favorite churches to patronize, but others like to sample from different houses of worship.

With that thought in mind, we turned to Yelp for an unscientific rankings of the best fish fry locales in or relatively close to Cranberry. Here’s what we found:

1. Saint Alexis Church
10090 Old Perry Highway, Wexford

Offered one reviewer: "We got fried fish but in the land of fried this fish was light and not greasy. It was also mild and fresh fish. Delicious! The peirogies were stuffed with mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese was cheesy goodness."

2. Holy Angels Parish House

3. St Mary’s Church

4. St Bernard’s Church
