Most of the money will be spent on the intersection at the entrance to UPMC Passavant-Cranberry.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Traffic conditions soon should improve in the Route 19 corridor, with more than $750,000 in signal improvements planned for the near future.
Gov. Tom Wolf announced on Thursday that 94 municipalities will receive $33 million to support the costs of improving traffic signals under PennDOT’s “Green Light-Go” project. Cranberry will receive $612,000 to upgrade the signal at Route 19 and St. Francis Way at the entrance to UPMC Passavant - Cranberry and another $138,000 to install adaptive signal equipment and software along the corridor.
Adaptive signal control technologies adjust when green lights begin and end to accommodate current traffic patterns and ease congestion. The technologies have been proven to improve travel times.
