Cranberry Restaurant Cited For 12 Health Violations

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Cranberry restaurant was found out of compliance with numerous state health regulations during a recent inspection.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture found 12 violations at the Big Shot Bob's location.

  • Among the findings in the April 6 inspection:
  • Mouse droppings were observed in a condensing unit behind a stand-up freezer.
  • A sleeve of raw ground beef was observed in the kitchen prep cooler and was sitting in contact with condensate water.
  • A package of salami was found stored in a container with raw meat droppings.
  • A food cutting board was not clean to sight and touch.
  • A knife rack was soiled with old food and debris.

The eatery remains open.
