Cranberry Waterpark Getting Additional Entrance
The new admission booth will be at the waterpark's northern end and near a 170-space parking lot.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - A year after the township spent $1.7 to improve the community waterpark, the place has become so popular that a second admission booth is being added. The booth, opposite the waterparkβs main entrance, will be open between 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. beginning June 26.
Township officials hope the booth, which will be housed in a tent next to the sand volleyball courts, will prompt people to use a 170-vehicle parking lot to the north of the waterpark. That possibly would alleviate the growing problem of people parking on lawn near the main entrance, which damages the grass and also puts people at risk for a $25 citation from township police.
Guests using the new admission booth wonβt be able to use credit cards. Nor will they be able to buy sunscreen and other items that are for sale at the main gate.
The waterpark includes a 17,500 square-foot pool, a 120-foot water slide, a spray pad zone, a diving well, in-pool benches, a baby pool, a water dump bucket, a climbing wall, lap lanes, private sun decks, a playground, locker rooms, concession area and a party room.
