Cranberry Welcomes 3 New Officers To Police Force

The new officers all have previous police experience.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Three new officers have joined the township police department and were recently sworn in at a township supervisors meeting:

  • Jeremy Norton, a Mt. Lebanon native, comes to Cranberry from the Carnegie Mellon University police force.
  • Christopher Schott, who was raised in the North Hills, worked most recently with the University of Pittsburgh police department.
  • James Cipriani, a Center Township native, previous worked for the Beaver Falls police department.

The three patrolmen have had training and experience in a variety of police specialties. Their hirings boost the police force size to 31, one shy of its fully authorized size of 32. Candidates are being recruited to fill that vacancy, township officials said.
