Easter Seals Classroom Proposal OK'ed by Cranberry Township
Easter Seals offers services for people with disabilities, including child development centers, physical rehabilitation and job training.

Children with disabilities, including autism, could soon expect to see education specifically geared toward children with disabilities in Cranberry Township and surrounding areas.
The Cranberry Township board approved the proposed classrooms with a 5-0 vote, according to TribLive.com. The proposed classrooms would be located in Rowan Road, near the Rowan Elementary School. The Easter Seals program organizers needed to submit a proposal because the land was not zoned for an educational building, TribLive.com said.
ProSource Digital Printing Company occupies the building currently, but will share the space with Easter Seals, creating 6,800 square feet of space for the classrooms, Trib Live reports. The organization did not issue a comment, citing the fact that a lease has not yet been signed.
