Ember & Vine Woodfire Oven and Social Bar Now Open In Newly Renovated Doubletree Cranberry Hotel

DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry has undergone extensive renovations since the rebranding of the hotel. Along with the beautifully modernized hotel, the new Ember & Vine Woodfire Oven and Social Bar is now open to the public.

Accomplished chef, Sam Castrale developed Ember & Vine’s delicious menus with recipes that showcase his “scratch cooking” philosophy. Chef Castrale started out his culinary career in New York City and after cooking in restaurants in Austin and Seattle, Castrale set his sights on Pittsburgh. As Executive Chef of Ember & Vine, he is eager to introduce the area to his flavor packed dishes and unique culinary techniques.

Ember & Vine Woodfire Oven and Social Bar, located in the Atrium of the beautifully renovated DoubleTree Cranberry Hotel, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will offer a variety of special offers and entertainment. The open setting and comfortable, yet sophisticated atmosphere was designed to accommodate all parties.

The menu features specialties from the restaurant’s custom-made woodfire oven such as the Potato Pizza with thinly sliced Yukon gold potatoes, fresh rosemary, provolone, pecorino, arugula and garlic oil, as well as chef favorites like the Pan Roasted Wild-Caught Filet of Fish with celery root puree and House Cured Duck Reuben with pastrami and sauerkraut.
