Chatham University Fridays @ the Farm Lecture Series

Edward R. Carr will be discussing his new book, Delivering Development:Globalization’s Shoreline and the Road to a Sustainable Future (2011), which draws upon his experiences in rural Ghana to challenge assumptions about globalization, food access, and climate change. Dr. Carr is an associate professor in the Dept. of Geography at the University of South Carolina and an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow, serving as a climate science advisor at the US Agency for International Development.
