Mimi's Bake Shoppe Feeding Pirates Charities 5K Home Run Inaugural Race

Mimi's Bake Shoppe, an artisanal special occasion bakery in Cranberry, will be providing more than 800 baked goodies - cupcakes, cookies, bars, and brownies - to participants in the Pittsburgh Pirates Charities 5K Home Run Inaugural Race, happening Saturday, April 9, at PNC Park.

Registration and runner check-in begins at 6:30 a.m., with a 1-mile Family Fun Run starting at 8:15.  

Pirates' Charities supports organizations and programs aimed at improving the lives of children and adults in the greater Pittsburgh region, with an emphasis on youth programs focused on health, fitness, and education.

Mimi's Bake Shoppe (www.mimisbakeshoppe.com) is located at 900 Commonwealth Drive, just off Rt. 228, Freedom Road.
