HOLIDAY REMEMBRANCE EVENTS

VITAS Healthcare is inviting members of the community in need of grief support to "The Tree of Life" illumination ceremony.

VITAS is hosting a remembrance event, “The Tree of Life” illumination ceremony, held on Sunday, December 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the VITAS Healthcare Community Room located at 2009 Mackenzie Way, Suite 110, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

The Tree of Life ceremony will feature the illumination of thousands of lights representing more than 3500 patients cared for by VITAS since 2005. During the illumination ceremony, pre-registered participants will receive a VITAS hand-painted ornament with the name of a loved one to be brought home.

For those unable to attend the “The Tree of Life” illumination ceremony, there are two opportunities to attend Candlelight Remembrance Ceremonies, which are listed below.

  • Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony held on Tuesday December 1 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Nursing Center located at 191 Evergreen Mill Road, Harmony, PA 16037
  • Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony held on Thursday, December 3 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Grove Manor Community Room located at 435 North Broad Street, Grove City, PA 16127.
