No Surprises Here: Skorupan, Mazzoni Re-elected to Cranberry Board of Supervisors
Two incumbents are elected to the board's two open seats.

Incumbent Chairman and Vice Chairman on Tuesday breezed through an easy re-election to Cranberry Township’s Board of Supervisors, according to unofficial results from the Butler County Elections Bureau.
After , the incumbents were the only two candidates left in the running for two open six-year terms on the township’s Board of Supervisors. Skorupan and Mazzoni, who ran a joint campaign, defeated fellow Republicans and in the spring.
That virtually assured their win—barring write-in votes—in the general election because there were no Democrats on the ballot.

With all nine Cranberry voting precincts reporting, results from the Elections Bureau show that Mazzoni nabbed 50.03 percent of the votes and Skorupan took 49.33 percent of the votes. There were 20 write-in votes cast.
When reached Tuesday evening, Mazzoni said he was pleased to be elected to his second term on the board.

"I’m excited to start another six years," he said. "I felt we’ve accomplished a lot the last six years. It took me a year or two to learn the sytem and operations. Obviously I'm going into the next six years at full throttle."
This will be Skorupan's third term on the board.
All results are unofficial until the Butler County Bureau of Elections certifies them.
