Santa To Make Early Stop In Cranberry

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — It's still several weeks until Thanksgiving, but St. Nick already is planning his initial visit to the township this year.

Santa’s First Stop, presented by Cranberry and Giant Eagle, is set for 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the township municipal center.

The annual free event features returning favorites such as live reindeer, holiday games and crafts, a Lego train display by Steel City Lug, the Cranberry Township EMS Toys for Tots drive, and caroling by the Dutilh Church Choir.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 7 p.m. to take the stage and flip the switch for the lighting of the township tree on the Armstrong Great Lawn. Unfortunately, Santa will be unable to stick around for photos or visits with children and families.

Food and drink will be available for purchase from Kuya's Tacos & More, Union Brothers Smashed, Chick-Fil-A, Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Cranberry Township Area Lions Club Hot Cocoa.

New in 2026, the event will also feature a seasonal shopping area where attendees can get an early start on holiday gift buying while also supporting small businesses. Confirmed vendors include 27 Lab Designs, Artistic Wood Design, Black and Gold Beef Jerky, Cheeky Shroom Crochet, Little Lady's Bow Co., Mattica Designs, Miss Fannie’s Farm Stand, Moment's That Stick, Sarah's Chocolate Dipped Treats, The Bubble Eye, and The Learning Gardens.

The township’s customer service department will be open from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. to sell 2027 Township Waterpark memberships at a discounted rate. Those purchasing a membership during this time will receive a surprise giveaway item.
