Seneca Valley High, Gloyer Middle School Get New Principals

The new prinicipals are familiar faces in the district.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Major administrative changes are occurring in the Seneca Valley School District, where Seneca Valley Senior High School and Ryan Gloyer Middle School will have new principals for the upcoming school year.

School directors have approved Robert Ceh as the new high school principal and Tony Babusci as the middle school principal. Ceh replaces Mark Korcinsky, who resigned earlier this month to pursue other opportunities; Babusci, assistant principal at the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice cyber and arts program, will take Ceh’s place at Ryan Gloyer.

Ceh once worked as dean of students at the high school and also has been a middle school social studies teacher in the district. He has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education-secondary social studies from The Pennsylvania State University, and a masters r’s in education and secondary principal certification from the University of Pittsburgh.

“I am excited by the challenge and opportunity to return to the Senior High School,” Ceh said in a district release. “Having spent all of my career at Seneca Valley between the middle school and high school, I have been a part of the foundation for both the beginning and the end of a student’s secondary career, and I look forward to strengthening the connection between the two.”

Babusci has been with Seneca Valley for the past 14 years, serving as a social studies teacher, cyber teacher and SVAOC administrator. He has a bachelor’s degree in general studies and humanities from Clarion University, a master’s degree in secondary education and teaching from Duquesne University; and a master’s in educational leadership from the American College of Education.
