Seneca Valley Snubbed In Latest High School Rankings
Despite impressive numbers, U.S. News & World Report doesn't consider the school among the state's best.

Seneca Valley High School was not rated among the state’s top secondary schools in the latest annual U.S. News & World Report rankings released on Tuesday.
Seneca Valley was not assigned a numeric ranking and failed to win a gold, silver or bronze medal from U.S. News. The medals are awarded based on a school’s performance on state assessments and how how well it prepares students for college.
The snub was surprising given the district’s 97 percent graduation rate and its college readiness score 23.1.That score is higher than the 20.91 required to be ranked not just at the state level but nationally.
