Whispering Pines Farm to Host 2016 Biannual Antiques and Artisans Festival

The event will take place in Cabot, PA on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th

The 2016 Biannual Antiques & Artisans Festival at Whispering Pines Farm will showcase interesting and unique creations from a wide variety of vendors. Over 60 antique dealers and talented artisans will have their wares on display for purchase at the scenic and charming Whispering Pines Farm.

The Antiques and Artisan Festival is expected to be better than ever this September with an antique car show on Sunday and a 1972 Richard Petty car on site both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, a collection of antique trucks, cars and tractors will also be on display.

“It’s extremely rewarding to host this type of event where guests really look forward to it and the artisans and vendors see the great value in being involved with us,” said Kerry McCann, Owner of Whispering Pines Farm. “It’s a win-win and everyone has fun shopping, listening to live music and eating a delicious home cooked meal together.”

Food will be available from Molly’s and Kountry Katering who will be serving a variety of items like homemade sweet and hot Italian sausage, burgers, kielbasa, chicken sandwiches, pierogies and more. Local bands, Jenkins & Crum: Old Friends Music Crew and Tim Ball will be playing music from the 60’s and 70’s.

Admission to the Antiques & Artisans Festival is $5 for guests and free for children 12 years old and younger. The festival opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. on both Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th. Handicap parking is available. No alcohol or pets are permitted.

Whispering Pines Farm is a gentleman’s farm located just 4 miles outside of the town of Saxonburg at 201 Winsome Lane, Cabot, Pennsylvania 16023. The farm’s picturesque backdrop includes a beautifully crafted Amish-made barn, two natural spring-fed ponds, ducks, cats, chickens, horses, dogs, a fire pit, and a “Glamping” site.
