Whiz Kids: Seneca Valley Students Chosen for Science Academy

juniors Dhruv Kohli and Michael Glatz, who both take advanced placement chemistry, recently were selected to attend a two-week residential program at BASF Science Academy. The event takes place July 16-26 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Dubbed “From Molecules to Marketplace,” the program is fully funded by the BASF Corporation and will allow students to use advanced chemistry to create their own products, develop a marketing plan and package and present their products to a team of BASF business leaders. 

Students who graduate from the program receive two transferable college science credits from Fairleigh Dickinson University. 

Kohli and Glatz also will get a taste of campus life while attending the program. The Seneca Valley students will use the university's classrooms, labs, dining hall, dorms and receive instruction from the science and marketing professors at FDU.
