Join us on June 24th to learn all about Purple Martins, from their fantastic migrations and nesting habits to identification and how you can attract them to your own backyard.
Will Krohn, an avian ecologist and graduate student at the University of Delaware, studies Purple Martins, specifically how young birds move between and select colonies for nesting. He will discuss his research work and what it means for the conservation of this species into the future.
Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Must be 21 years or older to be served alcohol.
