WHEREAS, Allegheny County has had an estimated total of 320 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 72 hours.

At Monday’s Council Meeting, Dormont Council declared a state of emergency and is requiring all attendees at public meetings to wear either a face mask or a face shield.

RESOLUTION NO 12-2021
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF DORMONT IN THE COUNTY OF ALLEGHENY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND REQUIRING FACE MASKS OR FACE SHIELDS FOR MEETING ATTENDEES.
WHEREAS, Allegheny County has had an estimated total of 320 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 72 hours; and
WHEREAS, Allegheny County has still not reached the 70% vaccination rate to protect residents against COVID-19 and its variants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Dormont, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, that the Borough of Dormont is declaring a state of emergency and is requiring all attendees at public meetings to wear either a face mask or a face shield.
