While Congress sets up tax breaks so CEOs make millions and corporations make billions, we struggle to make ends meet. As more and more middle class jobs have been replaced by low-wage work, millions of Americans in the 99% have lost the chance to realize our dreams. In this economy, putting more money into the pockets of ordinary Americans like us instead of only the richest 1% is a no brainer.

That’s why we are calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage. Tuesday, July 24 is a nationwide day of action to raisethe minimum wage.
