It's the Hollywood's birthday!

We’re turning 2!  The first weekend in May marks the second anniversary of the reopening of the Hollywood Theater by the nonprofit organization Friends of the Hollywood Theater. 

The community has shown an awful lot of support for this little old theater.  As of today, we have 5, 596 Facebook fans, 746 Twitter followers, 140 members (and growing), and hundreds of donors.  We’ve partnered with a ton of organizations in Dormont, the South Hills, Pittsburgh and beyond.   And as Paul and John say, it’s getting to better all the time!

We’re having a weekend of activities to celebrate:

Our Birthday Gala!

Hollywood Community Birthday Party

Stop by for FREE cartoons and short films, cake, and free popcorn.  This event is to thank YOU for your support. 

Then at 7pm that evening we’re showing the classic film GONE WITH THE WIND ($7 adults, $5 seniors and kids 12 & under).
