Brookline School Organizing Fundraiser For Fire Victim
A Pittsburgh Public Schools education center is staging a fundraiser for a staffer who recently lost her home in a blaze.
BROOKLINE, PA — A fundraiser is occurring to aid the family of Pioneer Education Center staff member Bobbi Jo Stoher, whose home recently was significantly damaged in a fire.
The event will happen March 13 from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at Coach's Bottleshop & Grille on Banksville Road. It will include a 50/50 and raffle baskets. Additionally, Stoher and her family will receive a percentage of sales from the evening.
"This heartbreaking event hit very close to home for us, as one of our Pioneer family members, Ms. Bobbi Jo, was affected and sadly lost everything," a post on the Pioneer Education Center Facebook page stated. "In times like these, we come together as a Pioneer family to support one another."

Also, a GoFundMe page was established to aid Stoher and her family. Donations still are being accepted.
