The Community Cornfest in Phillips Park is an annual event held to celebrate the end of summer. Both Carrick and Overbrook neighborhoods hold this joint celebration which includes food and entertainment. Phillips Park swimming pool will be open as well.
Food includes the traditional corn, hamburgers and hotdogs, but also sausage, pierogies, BBQ chicken, walking tacos, and this year Bhutanese food.
Entertainment includes the Seads, Cathasaigh, three Jimmy Adler student bands, insprirational vocalist, Irish and Bhutanese dancers.
