Inbound Parkway West Ramp to Greentree Road Closed Nightly This Week

The ramp from the inbound (eastbound) Parkway West to Greentree Road (Exit 67) in Green Tree Borough will be closed nightly this week, July 25-28, and next weekend, July 29-31, according to PennDOT District 11 officials. 

In addition, Greentree Road will be reduced to a single lane in each direction during the ramp closure. Crews will continue replacing expansion dams on the bridge over the Parkway West.

The closure will occur nightly this week from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. and next weekend from 8 p.m. on Friday, July 29, through 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 31.

Signs will be posted to guide motorists during the ramp closure. Traffic will continue inbound on the Parkway West, exiting to Route 51 northbound (Exit 69C), taking the outbound (westbound) Parkway West back to the Greentree interchange.      

Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.

The work is included in a $2.8 million contract with Lone Pine Construction, Inc. of Bentleyville, PA, for improvements on several bridges in PennDOT District 11.
