Mr. Rogers Documentary To Get Free Pittsburgh Screening

DORMONT, PA - This isn’t a news item from the Neighborhood of Make Believe: The Hollywood Theater will offer a free screening of the long-awaited Fred Rogers documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” on June 5 at 7 p.m. - three days before the film’s national release.

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (“20 Feet from Stardom”), “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” takes an intimate look at Pittsburgh’s Fred Rogers and shows the man behind the cardigan sweaters.

The Hollywood screening will begin with a group singalong of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” led by David Newell, the iconic Mr. McFeely.

To get in for free, patrons must wear the favorite sweaters to the screening (the theater is air conditioned, so don’t worry about getting overheated). Space is limited and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
