DUI
On July 30 at approximately 2:06 a.m., , in cooperation with theΒ Mt. Lebanon Area DUI Task Force,Β stopped a vehicle for operating with a flat tireΒ in 's 100 block of McNeilly Road.
Police reported detecting signs of intoxication coming from the driver of the vehicle in questionβSarah Daft, 46, of Fortuna Avenue in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhoodβand put Daft through field-sobriety tests, which police say that she failed.

Daft was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and taken toΒ theΒ Mt. Lebanon Police DepartmentΒ for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.

On Aug. 8, Baldwin Township police charged Brittany Cannata, 20, of Berkshire Avenue in Brookline, via summons with stealing an employee's cell phone from Β and attempting to sell the phone in .
Police said that Cannata stole the phone on Aug. 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m.Β when she was at Dollar General for a job interview.
