Traffic Tie-Ups Coming To McFarland Road In Dormont, Mt. Lebanon

DORMONT, PA - Prepare for traffic headaches around McFarland Road through late July. PennDOT will begin $3.8 million in concrete improvement work on the road beginning June 11, resulting in single-lane alternative traffic on McFarland between Washington and Banksville roads from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

Weekend closures also will be required for the project, which the first closure slated to begin June 14.

On-street parking will be permitted in designated areas.
