Trio Busted in Brookline For Drug Violations

Police find Percocet, heroin and marijuana after traffic stop.

BROOKLINE, PA - Three people were charged with drug violations Wednesday after a police traffic stop at Gallion and Wolford streets.

Responding to resident complaints, police were patrolling the 2000 block of Starkamp Street when they observed a teal Chevrolet Malibu believed to be involved in narcotics sales. According to a release from the department, when the car was pulled over, the driver, Anthony McNerney, 24, of Castle Shannon admitted to having a joint in his pocket.

Two passengers in the vehicle -- William Johnson, 19, and Samantha Morton, 28, both of Brookline -- were asked to step out. Officers found $1,800 in cash on Johnson, along with Percocet tables and two cell phones. Police found two bundles of suspected heroin in Morton’s shirt.
