• Police Log Sept. 30: Statutory rape, thefts (chaddsfordlive.com) — State police are investigating a Facebook Marketplace scam in which a woman from Downingtown paid a $75 deposit for a tattoo, only to be given a fake address and then blocked by the supposed artist. The same police log details several other theft and fraud cases in nearby Concord, Chadds Ford, and Kennett areas, underscoring ongoing scams targeting older residents.
