Concordia Choral Arts, Chester County’s premier choral organization, invites you to a concert celebrating the semiquincentennial anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!
Dreams, Visions & Imagined Worlds, under the artistic direction of S. Katherine Shealy, explores music inspired by ideals that the founding fathers embraced for our great nation. The program will feature renowned composer Kyle Pederson’s contemporary extended work, “A Vision Unfolding,” which invites listeners to envision a world rooted in compassion, freedom, inclusivity and justice. The choral elements will be accompanied by piano, trumpet, violin and snare drum, as well as interludes of spoken poetry.
