Bucks County Symphony Concertmaster Retiring After 30-Plus Years

Russian-born violinist Inna Nedorezov began her musical studies at the age of seven in her native town of St.Petersburg, Russia.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — After holding the position of Bucks County Symphony Orchestra's concertmaster for more than 30 years, Inna Nedorezov, will be retiring at the end of the subscription season.

"We cannot thank her enough for her superb musicianship, leadership, and friendship that has truly helped shape our orchestra. We wish her lots of fun and adventures in retirement," the symphony posted on Facebook.

Russian-born violinist Inna Nedorezov began her musical studies at the age of seven in her native town of St. Petersburg, Russia. She attended St. Petersburg State Conservatory for her formal training, receiving Masters in performance, where she studied with Mark Komissarov, of the Leopold Auer school.

After graduation, Inna continued her professional development working with well-known conductors, Neeme Jarvi and Yuri Temirkanov, at St. Petersburg Symphony/Opera Orchestra. She also performed with St.Petersburg Philharmonic under renowned Russian conductor Eugene Mravinsky. Inna toured around Europe as a member of the Chamber Orchestra receiving several awards at the Young Musicians festivals in Austria.

After immigrating to the United States Inna’s family settled in Detroit, MI. She became the Concertmaster of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in Ontario, Canada. She also made appearances as soloist with the Windsor Symphony, as well as other area orchestras and was the first violinist of Cambini String Quartet performing recitals in US and Canada.

Since 1987 Inna and her family have resided in Philadelphia area. She is the Concertmaster of the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra in Doylestown, principal second violinist with Allentown Symphony and Ocean City Pops, N.J. Other affiliations include Pennsylvania Ballet, Philly Pops, Vox Ama Deus and the Philadelphia Classical Symphony.

An active chamber musician, Inna is a member of the Danoff String Quartet who has performed throughout the Delaware Valley and toured in United States including Maine, North Carolina, and the Dvorak Centennial Festival in Iowa.

Inna has been a faculty member of the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia since 1988. She loves to read, work on needlepoint, take long walks on the sandy beaches of Ocean City and is a devoted mother and grandmother.

The symphony will conclude its 73rd season with a spring performance on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Central Bucks High School East

Adult tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Senior tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Students are admitted free of charge.

Tickets are available in advance at Rutherford’s Camera Shop, Doylestown Bookshop and on the symphony's website.
