WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A fallen tree limb has brought down utility wires and uprooted a telephone pole, prompting a road closure in Warrington Township.
Police closed a section of Pickertown Road between Elbow Lane and Argyle Road early Friday afternoon due to the fallen branch and pole.
The closure affects a stretch of Pickertown used for east-west travel through the township.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area while utility crews work to repair the damage. Drivers are being told to use Bristol Road or Street Road as alternate east-west routes through the township.
It was unclear how long the road would remain closed.
