Experts will provide guidance on key aspects of college preparation, including information on saving for college, PA Treasury’s 529 College Savings Program, financial aid and how to find the right college for your student. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from professionals and ask questions in an accessible, supportive setting.

Guest speakers for the event include:

“Preparing for college can feel overwhelming for students and families alike,” said State Senator Steve Santarsiero. “This event is designed to provide clear, practical guidance and connect our community with resources that can help make higher education more attainable.”

“Deciding where to go to college is navigating a maze of choices, making a series of big decisions about your future. That’s a lot of pressure on young people,” said State Representative Tim Brennan. “I hope our College Prep Night takes some of the mystery out of that process for the students and families who join us. We’ll make sure you know about real support tools you can use right away and introduce you to the state programs and services ready to help you figure out your path to higher education.”
