WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 33-year-old man is facing prowling charges after he trespassing on a porch in the 1300 block of Palomino Drive.
Police were called to the scene just before 2 a.m. on April 30 by a homeowner who reported that a man was on their porch without their permission.
When police arrived, they found the man standing on the porch of a home.
The homeowner told police he was alerted to the man on his porch by his barking dog. Police reported that the man had knocked on the front door and manipulated a window screen before being confronted by the homeowner, who told police he feared for his safety.
While speaking with the man, police observed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes, unsteady balance and the odor of an alcoholic beverage.

The man was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Warrington Police Department where he was processed and charged with loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness.
He was later arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Wertman, who set bail at $10,000 unsecured. Following arraignment, he was remanded to the custody of federal authorities on a detainer.
