DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Discover Doylestown is looking for volunteers to help hang flower baskets in town on Saturday, May 16.
The group will meet at Main and State beginning at 9:30 a.m. to receive instructions before fanning out across the business district in teams of two or more.
According to Discover Doylestown, volunteers should bring a six-foot ladder to the event to assist in the deployment of the baskets on the town's decorative lamp posts.
Work and garden gloves are also recommended unless you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty.
“If you aren't able to join us, please help us share this call for volunteers. We are always in need of extra hands and ladders," said Discover Doylestown leaders.
The beautification effort is a joint partnership between Discover Doylestown, the Borough of Doylestown, and Delaware Valley University.
