DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Thursday night outdoor concert at Broad Commons Park has been postponed due to inclement weather and field conditions.
Folk rockers Driftwood and Katelynn Casper of Serene Green, who had been scheduled to take the stage, will be rescheduled for a future night, concert organizers said.
The four-concert series - Concerts at the Commons - continues next Thursday evening, May 28, when WXPN welcomes Fat Mezz and Hay Sugar to the stage beginning at 6:50 p.m.
The series is sponsored by Fred Beans Automotive, The Lisa Povlow Team, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, The Monkey's Uncle, and C&N Bank.
Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chair or blanket to the pet-friendly, free concert event. Free parking will be available at the Bucks County Parking Garage just feet away from the park.
Stage United is producing the concerts in collaboration with the Doylestown Borough.
Since its founding in 2024 by Joe Montone, Stage United has impacted the region’s live music ecosystem by creating a fundraising model to produce both intimate performances and large-scale community concerts in Bucks County.
Montone is a lifelong Bucks native and introduces artists and audiences through Stage United, filling a cultural void as there is hardly any original music programming for all ages in the area.
"As a lifelong Bucks County resident, it is an honor to produce Concerts at the Commons alongside Doylestown Borough,” said Joe Montone of Stage United, which is bringing the series to the borough. “We are so excited to feature four nights of live music for all ages with a dynamic palette of sounds each night."
