WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man who died Friday afternoon in the Little Neshaminy Creek jumped from the Easton Road bridge, police said in a news update on the incident.
Police said multiple witnesses called 911 reporting that they observed the man walking southbound in the outside lane of Easton Road along the shoulder of the roadway while repeatedly looking back toward their vehicles.
Witnesses further reported that the man approached the bridge overpass at the Little Neshaminy Creek and subsequently jumped over the concrete barrier of the bridge into the creek below, police said.
Police estimated the fall to be approximately 23 feet. Rescue personnel reported the water depth in the area to be about waist deep.
Warrington Township Police, along with Warrington Fire Company and Warrington Community Ambulance Corps personnel, responded to the area of Easton Road north of the Creekview Shopping Center.
Upon arrival, emergency responders located an unresponsive man in the creek. Rescue personnel removed the man from the water; however, he was found to be deceased with no signs of life, police said,. He was pronounced deceased by Warrington Community Ambulance Corps personnel at approximately 1:35 p.m.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office positively identified the deceased as Eugene Bord, 45, of Warrington. The official cause and manner of death remain pending the completion of the coroner’s investigation.

"We would also like to thank the members of the Warrington Fire Company and Warrington Community Ambulance Corps for their swift response, professionalism, and rescue efforts."
