DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Bar Foundation has announced the launch of its new civic education website, BucksCountyCivics.org, a comprehensive online
resource dedicated to advancing civic knowledge, constitutional education, and informed community engagement throughout Bucks County.
The new website was created to serve as a central hub for students, educators, attorneys, parents, and community members seeking accessible and engaging civic education
resources. The platform features educational programming, classroom resources, volunteer opportunities, and information designed to help residents better understand
government, the Constitution, the judicial system, and the importance of civic participation.
As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the Bucks County Civics program will help strengthen civic understanding and engagement throughout our community. With Bucks County’s deep Revolutionary-era roots and enduring connection to America’s founding ideals, the foundation also believes the community is uniquely positioned to inspire meaningful conversations about democracy, citizenship, civic responsibility, and the Constitution for the next generation.
“Our goal is to make civic education more accessible, engaging, and relevant for people of all ages,” said Jeffrey Liebmann, President of the Foundation “The Bucks County Bar
Foundation believes that strong communities are built on informed citizens who understand both their rights and their responsibilities.”
The Bucks County Bar Foundation emphasizes that BucksCountyCivics.org is a strictly non-partisan initiative dedicated solely to civic education and public understanding of
government, the Constitution, and the rule of law. All website content, educational materials, programs, and speaker presentations are intended to remain non-partisan in
nature and are designed to encourage informed civic engagement without promoting political viewpoints or partisan perspectives.
The website highlights a growing range of civics initiatives and educational opportunities, including:
The website also features a dedicated Law Day Contest page, providing students, teachers, and families with information about the Bucks County Bar Foundation’s annual Law Day Contest. The contest encourages students to explore important constitutional and civic themes through creative expression and critical thinking while promoting a deeper understanding of the law and democratic values. The Law Day section includes contest details, participation guidelines, deadlines, educational resources, and recognition of student achievement.
The Foundation’s efforts align with broader educational initiatives throughout Bucks County aimed at strengthening understanding of government, civil discourse, and the rule
of law. The website is intended to support educators seeking classroom materials, students exploring government and law, and residents interested in becoming more informed and engaged citizens.
