DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Delaware Valley University Landscape Architecture Program has again earned accreditation from the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB), it was announced on Monday.
The LAAB evaluates and confers accreditation on programs which have demonstrated the ability to meet externally mandated minimum standards, as well as their own stated program objectives. Programs must meet specific standards established by the LAAB in areas such as curriculum, learning outcomes, faculty, facilities and technology.
"I want to thank Professor Michael Fleischaker, Professor Dan Mullin, Dr. Ricotta and Dean Sandelin for their leadership efforts in this achievement," said Dr. Gloria Oikelome, provost and vice president of academic affairs. "I look forward to working with and supporting this program's faculty to ensure we continue to deliver an effective educational experience for our students."
The program has been accredited for an additional four years, according to the LAAB.
