DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown will be showing its pride on Saturday, June 20 during a Pride Festival Block Party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on East State Street between Pine and Main streets.
The free event is part of Doylestown's Pride Festival, which continues through the end of the month. The day will feature live music, food, and lots of rainbows and unicorns.
Throughout the day, attendees are invited to stroll down the street, which will be closed to traffic. Lining the street will be more than 30 vendors showcasing businesses, nonprofits and organizations to the LGBTQ+ community.
Entertainment throughout the day typically includes a drag performance, DJ music and live musical acts set up at East State and Pine Street. Guest host Diva Divine Monroe will join special guests Lolly Hollywood, SUNRYZE, Asia Moore, Lexi Pro, Victoria Cortez and Jenny Lee Stern.

Other Pride Month Events
June 22 - Doylestown Bookshop presents Aimee Carter with Carli Corson from 12 to 2 p. at the Doylestown Bookshop. The store will welcome young adult authors Aimée Carter and Carli J. Corson as part of The Doylestown Pride Festival. They will be signing copies of their books, including Aimée's newest release in the Royal Blood series, "Royal Vengeance," and Carli's debut of "It's a Love Skate Relationship." This a signing only; there will no book talk. The event is free to attend and does not require registration. The signing will be held outside the bookshop if weather allows.
June 24 - The Rainbow Room hosts a Queer Youth Open Mic from 6 to 8 p.m. at the TileWorks. Bring a blanket, chairs, snacks, friends, family, love, pride and a commitment to a world that celebrates, protects and fights for LGBTQ+ youth + art. The event features open mic and live music and a sale of art. Open mic is limited to 2 to 5 minutes per person. The event is rain or shine. Info: RainbowRoom@ppkeystone.org
June 24 - A Loud & Proud "Ode To P!ink Drag Show" will be held at 7 p.m. at Maxwells on Main. This is going to be an unforgettable night of pride in queerness and Doylestown's hometown legend herself, P!nk! Click here for tickets.
June 25 - The County Theater presents a film screening of "Too Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything," starring Julie Newmar. The movie begins at 7 p.m. The film is about three drag queens (Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo) who travel cross-country in a 67 Cadillac convertible in hopes of making the pageant finals in Hollywood. But when their car breaks down in a small Midwestern town, they’ll have to use all the glamour and charisma they have to show the locals the power of drag. Endlessly quotable, TOO WONG FOO is a heartwarming message of community and acceptance. Opening ahead of TO WONG FOO is the Doylestown premiere of "Ben In Bloom," a 12-minute short documentary by director Natalie Jasmine Harris. The film chronicles the life and advocacy of Stella Lopresti-Busick (she/her), a queer youth in Bucks County. Stella will be in attendance to discuss BEN IN BLOOM immediately after TO WONG FOO ends, in a discussion and Q&A led by Marlene Pray (she/her), director and founder of The Rainbow Room.
