DOYLESTOWN, PA — The grounds of the Mercer Museum will come alive Thursday night with the sights and sounds of "Movies At The Mercer."
The County Theater, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre and the museum are teaming up to present a free showing of "A Minecraft Movie" with gates opening at 7:45 p.m. and the movie beginning at dusk (around 8:45 p.m.).
Based on the popular video game and centered around using one’s imagination to craft a cubic wonderland, four misfits are transported to the magical world of Minecraft in a movie from Jared Hess, the director of Napoleon Dynamite.
While there, their creativity becomes essential to their survival as their quest to get back home involves evil Piglins, Zombies, plenty of building, and an encounter with an expert crafter played by Jack Black.
